Compliance Manager Certification Requreiments

NRS 649.175 Manager's certificate required. No person may be the manager of a collection agency unless he holds a valid manager's certificate issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.

NRS 649.205 Examination

  1. The Commissioner shall provide for managers' examinations at such times and places as he may direct, at least twice each year.

Compliance Manager Certification Requirements

  1. Submit completed application, through NMLS at least thirty (30) days prior to your desired examination month (examinations are temporarily being conducted approximately once a month). (NOTE: Application submission does not guarantee a seat for the examination)

  2. If deficiencies are found, we will notify the applicant through NMLS. Please ensure the applicant checks NMLS and/or e-mail to stay on top of outstanding items, as requested.
 

Important Details

  • Please bring your own calculator. A basic calculator will be sufficient, however, your phone can not be used. 
  • You will be allotted 45 minutes for completion of the examination.
  • Examination results will be sent via e-mail within 5 business days.

NOTE: No results will be provided via telephone and results are only pass/fail.
